ABOUT STEVEN AND VIRGINIE

About Steven Mitchell:
Steven along with his original dance partner Erin Stevens launched the modern resurgence of Lindy Hop in the United States and the rest of the world when they brought the late great Frankie Manning out of retirement. Steven has taught lindy hop for over 20 years. Most of today's top instructors of lindy hop have learnt from Steven Mitchell at some point in their career. Steven is reverred by lindyhoppers and his workshops continue to be extremely popular worldwide.

About Virginie Jensen:
Virginie has over 20 years of dance experience that includes Jazz, Classical Ballroom, Swing, Ballet. She attended Laoust Ballet School, Franketti School of Dance, Harlem School of Classical Ballroom and Arcadance School where she worked on many dance performances.

She began teaching Ballet and Ballroom at the age of 16, and has performed Ballroom and Jazz professionally for several years. She is also the winner of numerous dancing awards in France.

Virginie began teaching Lindy Hop in 1997. In 1999 she paired up with Steven Mitchell to teach full-time internationally. Known for her unique style, spinning and connection, Virginie draws from her extensive dance experience to teach grace, frame and flash to the followers.
